AWANA will begin on September 9th, 2007

(registration also will be prior to AWANA on the evening of September 9th)

AWANA is an exciting time of fun and learning for Boys and Girls. The purpose of
AWANA is:
To reach children and their families for Christ
To lead children to memorize Scripture
To involve children in missions
To teach children honesty and sportsmanship
AWANA is an international,
Bible-centered youth organization providing weekly clubs for children.
AWANA derives its name from 2 Timothy 2:15, Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
Through Bible memorization and other Bible-based
activities, children in AWANA learn the Word of God and begin to develop a
relationship with Jesus Christ. Lexington Park Baptist offers AWANA on
Sunday nights from 5:00 - 7:00 PM and
is for boys and girls from age 3 through 5th Grade.
